A few years ago, I stepped out of my lane as a law A few years ago, I stepped out of my lane as a lawyer and decided to teach a six week class to help women discover their calling. I took a ton of brave steps in creating and sharing the class with women in my community. During that time, I felt like I was gaining momentum, impacting women and growing as a person. At the peak of that experience, I had a few difficulties and failures that completely changed the way I saw myself as a leader. I lost my confidence and the gifts God had given me. I love this hat🧢 #highhopes At first, the dea I love this hat🧢 #highhopes At first, the death of a dream is awful and brutal. So many questions about God’s plan, grief and what could be next after striving towards that dream. But, somehow over time, new plans are revealed and God’s sovereignty and kindness intersect again. Here’s the beauty - we can always have #highhopes even when the giver of good gifts shifts the path. Someone I love very much lost a lot in the way of his dreams. Today, I got to see God smile down upon him. I had #highhopes and God met me there. That’s the generous kindness of our great God. May we trust Him in the shift. May we believe His every move is to bring us closer to Him. May we keep our hopes high 🧢
I love dying eggs. This year, I tried natural dye. I love dying eggs. This year, I tried natural dye. I boiled beets, turmeric and purple cabbage; strained the liquid; filled mason jars with eggs, dye and vinegar; and waited a day or two. Along the way, I ended up curious about the meaning of the egg on the Passover Seder plate. I found that the symbolic meaning is relevant to both the celebration of Easter and Passover 🔯✝️ Mourning Fragility Suffering Hope Resilience Rebirth Redemption So much to think about this week. Where am I in this holy cycle? So much to be grateful for in every season. So many reasons to open our hearts, to love, to bless others within our reach. #celebratelife #easter #passover #blessinguponblessing #naturaldye #eastereggs
