I love my Gammy (grandma). I was the first grandch I love my Gammy (grandma). I was the first grandchild and gave her that name. I call her Lilly now bc that’s the name she goes by at the nursing home. She knows me as her Sunday date at our “cafe” (which is the lobby). We watch @inagarten bc that’s how she used to cook and recognizes all the ingredients. Then we head to the dining room where we have dinner, but we don’t have to worry bc meals are included in her rent 😉 Life certainly changes, but love doesn’t ♥️

I love these girls 💙🩵 15 years later, we’re still I love these girls 💙🩵 15 years later, we’re still going strong! We read the whole Bible together this year and had the best layered conversations over laughter, learning and truth. We’re better women, moms and partners because of it. Years ago, I looked up to the “older” ladies in my life with a wealth of wisdom and history as sisters in Christ. This group of Devoted women that I have the privilege to know - - we are becoming those “older” ladies and I couldn’t be more proud + grateful to be standing next to them. Love you my friends ‼️

Long drive but it’s worth it! ♥️ 🏈 Super fun game day brunch & cool, fall weather at Doak! 🩰 What a joy to see Leila dance at the Music/Dance School Collaboration. You are doing fantastic kid! 👻 I brought the kids Boo Bags bc putting together gifts makes me HAPPY 👟 Eric and I got A LOT of walking in - campus + downtown + midtown (where we found the most fun gift shop that kept us laughing for 30 mins!) *** My takeaway as we head home tonight is that showing up for the people you love is the most important act of love. Love is layered, requires patience and work, apologies, conversation and planned fun; and as we all know, it covers everything in the most beautiful, sacrificial way. I truly love this lovely, little life I’ve been given. 🏈🩰👻👟♥️
September was full of a lot of hope. I was moved b September was full of a lot of hope. I was moved by ~ - prayer with Thanksgiving (Phil 4:6) - promise of future hope (Prov 23:17-18) - God is always working to this day (John 5:17) - the Word of God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8) The hope came from hoping. Hope for some things to pass. Others to hold up. For some things to change. From the hoping came truths that remain true. Hope is not cut off. Jesus is working. Eternity remains true in every season. With an abundance of thanksgiving & joy Welcome October! 🍁🌻🧡
I’m the happiest mama when we’re together. Honestl I’m the happiest mama when we’re together. Honestly, I learn from them and about them sometimes even more so when I’m in their town. I see their clarity over their lives. I see strength and legitimate joy. I see lives being built with peace. On a strong foundation of faith, humility and confidence. With grace, love and depth. Seeing who they are becoming and how well they are growing gives me new freedom in my own faith and also as a mother. God is so very good and kind. I’m grateful. ✝️💟
