We are driving home from Tally. It’s been a good, We are driving home from Tally. It’s been a good, good summer. After Quinn graduated in May, we headed to Newport, RI to visit him at his internship, along with a few days in Boston. Two places I’ve never been! Just after, Leila headed to Paris to dance and explore for a month with FSU. Next, Eric and I spent the weekend with my Swiss best friend and her two kids. Then, Salt Lake City, for my person‘s first daughter‘s wedding. Last, we headed to Tallahassee to move in Leila for her junior year and Quinn for the first semester of his masters program in Food Science. Feeling so grateful. 1-6: Newport & Boston with the three people that make my life full and whole. It’s been very special to see God open and shut doors in Quinn’s life in the last year. It’s a beautiful thing to know your son is in the center of God’s will. 7-10: Manhattan with the Scott’s. This represents 30 years of friendship and raising kids together from afar (Geneva to Ft. Laud). #10 is my gorgeous goddaughter who has Sasha as a middle name 11 - Leila in Paris. My strong, kind girl. She applied to the masters program to start early in Dance Kinesiology. She’ll then apply for a doctorate program in Physical Therapy to serve dancers - - but always dancing herself. All of this makes me so happy. 12-18: I’ve been praying for darling Lindley since she’s been about 11 years old. Seeing her step into marriage as a mature, passionate Godly woman to her true match filled me with a sense of awe. To experience this with my very best friends was magical. 19-20: We have a habit of cooking a big family dinner each time we are in Tally. It’s an open invitation to our kid’s friends. Nothing better than hanging with who we call the “big kids”. I guess they are all sort of becoming the “big kids” now. God, you are good and I can barely hold all that goodness today. Proverbs 11:16

You did it! We are so PROUD of you! Today’s the You did it! We are so PROUD of you! Today’s the day to commemorate all that you have accomplished, all that you’ve overcome, all the hard work, all the times you reached out and something good came back, all the times you taught a class as a TA, put on a flavor seminar, countless hours in the lab, and were a good friend to someone. Today is the day to hear, not just “good and well done” but “GREAT and well done.” We love you Quinn!! Rom 8:38-39

I love my Gammy (grandma). I was the first grandch I love my Gammy (grandma). I was the first grandchild and gave her that name. I call her Lilly now bc that’s the name she goes by at the nursing home. She knows me as her Sunday date at our “cafe” (which is the lobby). We watch @inagarten bc that’s how she used to cook and recognizes all the ingredients. Then we head to the dining room where we have dinner, but we don’t have to worry bc meals are included in her rent 😉 Life certainly changes, but love doesn’t ♥️
